Download PetAdmin
Full/Evaluation Version (version 1.15.3)
FOR EXISTING CUSTOMERS WISHING TO UPGRADE TO 1.15.3: For single licence users, backup your database in your current version and then restore the database into the new version. Then delete your old icon. For networked licences, backup your database and make a note of the parameter in your icon properties that identifies where your database is. When you start the new version, you can now browse to where your database is. The first time you connect will cause your database to be upgraded. Finally, remove your old icon. Versions from 1.14.7 onwards have updated security, if you are upgrading from a prior version then your unlock code will NOT be valid and you will need to contact us for a new one.

Vista Users - Error calling
Petadmin Help (Fixed in V1.13.2 onwards) Some Vista users have experienced an error message 'Help was created in Windows Help Format which is not supported by Vista' in certain version of Windows Vista when running the PetAdmin help system. PetAdmin uses the WinHlp32 system which is not rolled out by default on some versions of Windows Vista (See the Microsoft article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607 for further information). For Vista users affected by this, the WinHlp32 system can be downloaded and installed by following this link on the right. This only affects Windows Vista, and no other versions of Windows are affected. We use the old WinHlp32 system to remain compatible with Windows 95, 98 and ME. Please note that this is
fixed in the latest version 1.13.2 onwards |

Corrupt PetAdmin Database - Download JetComp.Exe PetAdmin uses a Microsoft Access 2000 (Jet 4.0) database file to hold all its data. PetAdmin will attempt to repair the database, but in some instances it can't. If this is the case Microsoft provide the JetComp utility to repair Jet 3.x and 4.x databases (see also MS KB article Q273956. If the database is unrepairable, then you must restore the database from the last good backup that you have. Documentation (in MS Word format) for the JetComp utility is available here. |

PetAdmin Word Example Templates Version 1.10.0 and above of PetAdmin allows you to design your own letters, invoices, run-card, etc using MS Word (97/2000/XP required). There are a number of examples in this download, of invoices, letters and a run-card so that you can see how to design your own, or use this as a basis for your own templates. The examples are contained in a zip archive file, and you may need a utility such as WinZip to extract the files. Create a folder in the PetAdmin installation directory (normally C:\Program Files\PetAdmin) called MSWord, and unzip these examples into this folder. |
